Violations for an unapproved left-front spring and an unapproved right-front shock cost 25 points each. His win will stand.
After conducting its own investigation into the matter Penske Racing found that circumstances beyond its control triggered the infraction.

TALLADEGA, Ala. (April 25, 2010) – Penske Racing’s Brad Keselowski won the Aaron’s 312 NASCAR Nationwide Series race in the No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge Sunday night at Talladega Superspeedway after he finished 34th in the No. 12 Penske Dodge in the Aaron’s 499 Cup Series race earlier in the day. This is the second-consecutive weekend that rain has forced NASCAR to run both races on the same day.
Keselowski’s Nationwide Series victory is the first for the 26-year-old driver since he made the move to Penske Racing last season.

CHICAGO, Ill. (April 21, 2010) - The tradition of great drivers in Penske Racing's No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge will continue as Brad Keselowski takes the wheel of the Blue Deuce beginning in 2011. The 26-year-old Keselowski is currently in his first full year on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, driving the No. 12 Penske Dodge.

Keselowski, who started 36th and led 26 of the 500 laps, is now ranked number 30 in the latest Sprint Cup standings.

“I’m glad to have another solid finish,” said Keselowski, who started on the pole and led 73 of the 300 laps. “This gets us right where we need to be in points.”
Keselowski’s day began with an appointment at the NASCAR hauler with Carl Edwards. The two drivers were able to clear the air and get back to racing.
